Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Mr. Masood Khalid has invited Chinese companies to collaborate over the establishment of special economic zones in Pakistan. Considering this as an essential to be done in the second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, Mr. Khalid mentioned livelihood, tourism in Gwadar, water treatment, agriculture, food, and vocational training as areas of much potential.
It’s now the time to pay attention to the otherwise ignored, low budget sectors of Pakistan.
The stepping of China Pakistan Economic Corridor into its second phase has opened up newer gates of success and opportunity for both the countries. While addressing the advantages offered by Pakistan to the interested foreign investors, Mr. Masood Khalid expressed his desire to set-up sister city relations between Pakistani cities and Chinese Shandong Province. He presented these thoughts on his official visit to the Weihei and Jinan, in Shandong province – the hub of China’s economic development with GDP of over 7.6 Trillion Yuan. This developmental phase of CPEC will commence soon after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China this year.
